Planning a New Shop – Dust Collection Ideas for Grinding Room?

ok, so this might be stupid but hear me out lol... What if you used thick clear plastic attached to the ceiling, with a pipe attached to the bottom. You attach rope to the pipe and pully to the ceiling and raise and lower your walls like window blinds. When you're not grinding you have max space. When you're grinding you contain the dust.

If you have the space solid walls would be much nicer but if you're super cramped well this is a possible solution.
 
Sort of neat idea, but I doubt it would work well. The plastic and base tube would be a lot heavier and stiffer than a window shade.

What will work is a welders curtain . It has 6" to 12" wide strips of heavy clear plastic on a track. The strips are connected like an accordion. The whole assembly slides back and folds as you push it. Sort of similar to how the curtains around an ER bed niche work.
