Hi all!

I decided to cut seriously down my next year knife purchases and get only few, maybe 4-5 folder's this year ( I have to balance things by making few give aways ) but I plan to get good user folder's:

Delica 4 with VG-10 for EDC

Kershaw Rainbow Groove with Sandvik 13C26 or 14C28 blade. I am not actually sure which one its made of but its good steel. Ranbow TiNi coating gives good rust resistance.

Buck Vantage Pro with S30V blade. I'll probably replace my Spyderco Tenacious with this.

and 1-2 spot is left for black horses like Spyderco Dragonfly with VG-10 or similar knife.

I wondering if anyone else has planned the knives they will get for sure in 2010?

CRKT Hisshou.

Lg Sebenza.

A few SAK's.

And maybe a custom Sod Buster? ;)

Oh yeah, and Happy New Year to everyone!!!!:D:thumbup:

A Busse Bushwacker Battle Mistress.

The new RAT Cutlery folder if it comes out next year.

A new Scrapyard knife if any cool ones come out.

Maybe a Case knife and thats really about it.

Im looking at spyderco for 2010...If i can get my hands on the new Ti/M4 military that would be awesome but ill most likely get a para, a Manix2, and a Spyderhawk.

The only thing I plan on getting in 2010 are the knives I have on order. I would like to get a Strider PT CC & SNG CC. But that is about it.

In boxing, "everyone has a plan, until they get hit".

In knife collecting, "everyone has a plan, until the next SHOT show releases"

:)

I'd like to get a lg and sm sebenza
a bm 710
maybe a bm42
military ti/m4
rat folder if it comes out
hk 14205 or 14210
orange military

Hoping to pick up the following:
Spyderco Manix 2
Spyderco CF Sage
BM 551 Griptillian
And still need to replace a couple that were stolen when our home was broken into.

Was it Styx that has that song, "Your foolin' yourself, and you don't believe it?" ;)
Hee Hee, good luck, let me know if it works.

I want to sell some stuff to buy a Sebenza this year. I want it to be "found" money, not money out of pocket, if ya know what I mean. I guess I want a guilt free Sebbie! I am probably foolin myself, but I don't believe it.

Gonna go hawk crazy this year, coal creek and probably a few self-modded CS trail hawks. Condor machetes, the Joe Flowers line and MORAs are a definite. Maybe the special edition Becker with micarta scales from Kabar...

This year (2009) I bought a Bravo 1, F1, Manix 2, Native 4, Mini Cyclone, and an Izula.

Next year (2010) I like to buy a TK4, F1 blank to use with my white Corian, Fox River, Huntsman, and possibly a CR Seb if I can swing it.

Edit: Forgot the Titanium Sage.

BUT as JOE said, all plans can become obsolete in the blink of an eye. lol

I usually plan a month or two ahead on which knife I want to get. My plan for January was to be a CRK Umnumzaan to go along with the large Sebenza 21 woodie I got a week ago. But after looking around and reading some I have decided to go with a Tim Galyean Pro Series large Lahar this month and also got on the list for the next run of large Pro Series JTDII's. Really looking forward to the coming year!!:D:D:thumbup:

In 2010 I plan on 'refining' my collection and concentrating solely on Emerson folders, with a smattering of custom fixed knives from the excellent makers on BF. It's the least I can do to support the community. ;)

I would like to get the:

RC-3 MIL
RC-6
Ka Bar USMC full size 7 inch
Becker BK2
and the RAT Cutlery folder if it comes out

all plain edge

My only plan is the Spyderco Military Ti/m4 framelock, since I'm on the list.

If I get that, I probably won't get much else since it's a pricier knife, for me.

Though I really want a Spyderhawk with the h1 spyderedge... And maybe a few more opinels... And maybe a Native 4, Stretch, something from RC, etc.... :D

My Peter Carey Special Rubicon is going to be ready in the middle of next month.

I'd like to get a Strider PT and a Nemisis Imp in 2010. Also looking at acquiring some smaller/gentlemen's folders.

I would like to get a CRK knife probably a Small Sebenza, a BM 710, an Emerson Commander, and a Spyderco Millie. After I get those ones I don't know what else I'll get.
