Plans for LC200N in existing salt models?

Anyone know if there are plans to use LC200N on any of the existing salt models? I would love to have Salt1 (and maybe a pacific salt) in plain edge with better edge retention. It might make sense to use H1 for SE and LC200N for PE.

The Caribbean salt looks really nice but it's a bit pricy for me to carry into the ocean (I may get one but I've already lost one Salt1 playing in the waves so that limits how much I want to spend on a beach knife). I really just want a plain edge salt1 with better edge retention than H1.

After the salt 2 I am very exited to see a Pacific salt 2 coming
Shall it be made of LC200N it will be even more appealing to me ;)

I would be interested in plain edge full flat grind Salt 2 and Pacific Salt...

I would even go one further than that>> I would love to see a full flat grind SPYDERHAWK model in plain edge with LC200N. And as SURF has said for a long time that it outperforms H-1 in plain edge so it just makes perfect sense to have it for plain edges.

I'm still curious and anxious to see how LC200N performs in Spyderedge. Being that H-1 does so well in Spyderedge I can't help but wonder if LC200N also being a nitrogen based steel might be just as good or maybe even better in SE.

Oh man would I love to see a new plain edge Spyderhawk in LC200N! I got into Spydies just a little too late to snag one. The more I read about LC200N the more I can't wait to try it out. A Superhawk in LC200N would be awesome also, another one I missed out on!

In serrated I'm happy with H1 in PE I wouldn't mind a LC200N switch, although I haven't tried it yet - I trust you guys.

veering off topic for a sec.
Are the Salt 2's & Pacific Salt 2's going to have a Black/Satin option? I'm just seeing Yellow/Satin or BLK/BLK as an option for the Salt 2.

I'd be in for a PE Pac Salt...curious how H1 and LC200 compare cost wise, I know sunk costs are still fresh on LC but long term economies of scale outlook wise.

these ain't serrated for nothing!
would love a version of each in PE and LC200N

Anyone who knows about the attributes of LC200N should jump on the SpydieChef with Ti scales. It's a masterpiece. As a Merchant Mariner, it's the perfect folding blade for general purpose. It also pulls double duty in t the galley with food preparation. It's easy to sharpen and holds a great edge. Yes, sometimes you pay for what you get. It's my favorite Spyderco. To put that in context, I also use a Caly 3.5 ZDP-189, PM 2 (CPM S110V), Sage 5, Tusk, Delica 4 Ti, Manbug ZDP-189, etc., etc.

It's under consideration.

I was afraid to ask if this was happening in the bigger Salt thread. I do not own any H1 but I have had a Mule Team 25 in my kitchen working along side a mid sized Petty and after a summer of BBQ’s it finally dulled enough to warrant sharpening. The stain and wear resistance are impressive.

I’m looking forward to the Caribbean :D
