Found several plants of these last weekend. Are they black currants? If not what are they?

I'd normally expect more pominent point ( tri pointed) leaves on a current but after a little research I see that there can be some variance among the leaves..I'd go along with currant, although I'd let someone I didn't like try them first.

That's a great idea......now I need a plan to get her there.

they look a little like these I found. I thought they were nanny berries.

My gut fealing is a no, the leaves don't look quite right and there is usually a slight stalk type thing(calyx,I think) in the bottom of the berry !

I agree about the bottom of the berry, that's what made me unsure. I hope to go back today and will get better pics.
