• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Well before the guys who know what their talking about start posting...I'm a rank amatuer so I'm taking a crack at the first two photos which looks like Goat Beard to me with the 3 times compounded leaves. If I'm correct then it is a member of the rose family and has been used by NW tribes for curing a number of illnesses.

I'm no expert, but I think the 1st pic in post #2 is horsetail stemmed out.

Thanks for the info, I can looks those up.

Yeah, after some looking it does appear to be Common Horsetail.(Equisetum arvense) for Doc Canada.

Your fourth photo with your folder in the foreground could be Achlys Californica or the coastal variation of the Vanilla Leaf (Deer Foot). The Californica variation has six to eight segments and occasionally more up to 12. The one in your photo appears to have six and maybe seven segments.

The yellow flower is common monkey flower; Mimulus is the genus, I don't remember the species.
