Please advice about heating small blades

Hello. I have a problem that probably lots of us face: Coal, blower, small space & dirt:grumpy:
As I have a gas connection to the house central gas system at the back yard (for BBQ requirements), I thought maybe using it as an energy source for my HT.
I HT small blades only (friction folders). My questions: Is there a gas burner on the market that will be able to do the job without adding oxygen? Can you pls state the model or add a picture? Any other thoughts/ideas?

I have been able to use a propane torch up to 1500 F which is fine for simple carbon steels but not stainless. What type of steel do you use? I have a converter that allows me to connnect to a large propane bottle.

My steel is a simple Nicholson file and O1 steel. I don't want it for SS steel. What do you mean by 'converter'? Thanks.

Here is a link to the regulator, I think there is a fitting in between. Send me an email and I will look and see if I can get number or models. But this setup allows you to connect a propane torch to a large bottle.
