....to carry my G10 Military/SE instead of my D3/SE:confused:

Greetings you all:)

I have my Delica 3/SE on my person 24/7.

I plain just love the knife for it's sheeple friendlyness and usefulness. I'm used by now to the 3 3/4 fingergrip I can get on the handle. I even bought some back ups of the little bugger.

However, my most favourite Spydie is my G10 Military/SE:cool:

- it fits my hand like Sal used my hand for molding
- you got to looove the fully serrated flat ground blade

However the knife is not very sheeple friendly and after using my D3/SE for a month straight now the blade of the Milie looks huge to me now.

In general I'm a one knife person so please don't tell me to carry both;)

Furthermore I think I'm one of the few who really likes liner locks for their solidness and lack of blade play.

So please convince me:confused:

Put the Delica away and just start carrying the Military for a few weeks.

Go and buy two large grapefruits and two big thick messy sub sandwiches....then slice them all in half, first using the Delica, and then using the Military.

Now get a nearly empty jar of peanut butter and a nearly empty jar of jelly and some bread....make two PB&J sandwiches, one using the Delica and one using the Military.

Now go and clean both knives.

Wait till night and have a friend drive you to a dangerous part of town.
Have the friend let you out so that you can walk a couple of blocks.
Do this twice, first with the Delica in your pocket and again with the Military in your pocket.

There, that should convince you!;)

Seems to me like a SE ParaMilitary or SE Endura might be somewhere between the two - you'd get the best of both worlds,...,er,...knives.

AllenC got the right idea.

After I got a big folder in my pocket, I cann't be swing back into the little guys anymore.

How about carrying two knives? The Military SE and a small PE like a delica or better yet--a ZDP Calypso Jr or Centofante 3 or 4. I like a big SE like my E4 and can get away with a smaller PE. A thin slicer along with an SE chainsaw. What more could you ask for?

I'm not sure Arend (D3/SE) has ever carried a plain edge:D .

You like carrying the Delica, but want to carry the Military?

Buy a Calypso 3.

ZDP Caly 3 for the sheeple, Chinook III for utility, and the Catcherman for fruit and sandwiches.
Got my bases covered.
You should definitely get a Caly 3
