Ever seen the Fashion shows ?

No. I'm talking about supposedly "regular" guys like news anchors, talk show hosts, sports announcers, business leaders and so forth. Not "Dancing with the Blowhards" or whateverelsenot.

I heard of one called "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" a few years ago and thought it was the dumbest thing I ever heard of. When I want advice on what to wear to impress a woman, I'll ask a straight woman.

I own a suit and I look AWESOME in it. However, I do not own dress shoes or a tie. If cowboy boots and an open collar ain't good enough for wherever I'm goin' ... I ain't goin'.

I do have a fashion question for the younger hipper guys though... the last couple years when I see men on TV and the movies wearing suits, the tie never matches the pocket square. Sometimes they both clash with the shirt. Striped shirt, plaid tie, polka dot handkerchief... all different colors. WTH is up with that? Is it now "cool" to look as if you got dressed in the dark? In my day we made merciless fun of nitwits like that...

That is actually a trend that seems to have been perpetuated by gay folks wanting to sport rainbow colors. It then caught in Europe and slowly made its way to America. That look is for people who want to look "young and hip" personally I think it is a load of flaming ca-ca. When I wear a suit I do it to look professional. I'm not going to show up wearing high waters, with white socks and converse shoes. I'm not going to look like I just finished blowing a clown behind the Perkins. I'm not going to look like Stevie Wonder dressed me. I know what colors go together and what doesn't. Learn what colors work for you.

Thank you! When Danielle lived local she was my shopping buddy, now it's Miss. Take a hot chick with you shopping and it will all work out!

That's what I'm sayin'! I happen to like heterosexual women. Why would I want to look attractive to flamboyant homosexual men?

I'm just gonna throw this word out there , cos it's one of my favourites. FLANGE

It's also a cool guitar effect, designed to mimic the sound you get when you play back a recorded part and rub your finger along the edge (or "flange") of the tape with varying degrees of pressure.
