please don't 'ignore' me

What is the function of the {ignore list} option? It should be obvious, I know, but, there are folks who say I'm a little short in the cognitive area, so bare with me if you will.

To put it bluntly, if a member of the forums is a troll or simply an idiot with nothing constructive to say other than to cause trouble, others have the option to not read what the moron has to write. Problem posters usually are the ones on the ignore lists.

If you put someone on your ignore list you wont even see their post. Sometimes others will post a reply to an "ignored" person...that can seem a little strange since you'll have no idea what the reply was to.
