More specifically,
/p/ is an unvoiced bi-labial stop, and /b/ is a voiced bi-labial stop.

Given the direction of this thread, we'll be into *ahem* fricatives by page two.

I saw a couple of bi-labials using fricatives in Vegas once. It cost 40 bucks to get in and a beer was 10 dollars.

I don't remember seeing any liners.
 
I think I had a bi-labial serve me breakfast in a San Francisco diner. I didn't see the fricative, but there was a bulge.
