If you camp out in the woods or go fishing on a stream 4-5 nights a year. Get the ax. If you have trees around your house and need to trim
them once every 3 years, get both. DM

Normal bushcrafting stuff

Get Council's 28" Hudson Bay with the utility finish. It'll be a ittle softer than a GB but you'll save $125. Then get Tajima G-Saw 240 folding saw. Add a small fixed blade knife (e.g Mora Companion) and you've everything you need for bushcrafting. The axe will need a little filing and honing.
