please explain

I'm with you Cody. On my very first BF post I made the mistake of asking the age old question of which seld defense knife would you want for the violent encounter listed in my post. I got flamed pretty fast and often. But I made a few phone calls to the folks who were flaming the loudest, had some good conversations, and most of them apologized in the forum for their remarks. I agree that a lot of people tend to flame first and think later. But in all fairness, I've been able to work things out with people here pretty much everytime.
 
I've been replied to snarkly on 3 occasions, all from the same person-at least here in the RAT forums. In the general thread everybody is trying to prove the length of their manhood by how much money they spend on knives... it's a useless battle. We get alot of new guys asking the same questions over and over and over, so if the reply sounds robotic, that's probably why.
