Please forgive me I made a stupid move....

I ordered a knife of another brand that I will not name, and was sadly dissapointed that I had spent my money and did not get more for my buck...... In a side by side comparison the ESEE wins hands down. The quality and finish was not what I expected on the new knife. While the finish had no blimishes or anything, it did not hold a candle to the ESEE. The ESEE was sharper, heavier, and just feels more work ready in my hand. Well lesson learned I will stick with ESEE to get a quality knife from now own...Thanks guys :D

I forgive you! =)

A couple of questions. Is the knife you purchased the same type of design as the ESEE you are comparing it to?
ie. ESEE-5 to BK-2 Is it in the same price range as the ESEE you are comparing it to? and last. It is only your oppinion that you are posting. It is neither wrong nor right. For instance. My Buddy Moosey here, loves his BK-2, he has an ESEE-5, but much prefers his BK-2. I on the other hand, dislike the BK-2, and wouldn't use it to clean the crap off my boot. ;) But I love the ESEE-5. I think the Becker BK-2 is a great knife for the money, but since I owned the ESEE-5 before I ever held the BK-2; I prefer the 5. It is your oppinion, you should own it. No knife maker is dumb enough to ever think he could satisfy everyone.. Besides, if everyone kept their oppinion to themselves, how would knifemakers ever improve their work???

Very well put T.M. Thank god we all are not driving around in the same vehicles, wearing the same clothes, eating the same foods, and shooting & cutting with the same tools . . . Nothing wrong at all with comparing products, magazines do it all the time with their products. Just my opinion as well.
Be safe.

Live and learn, brother! For the respective price ranges, there are only two kinds of knives: (1) ESEE and (2) Not an ESEE.
