This week I finally received my Microtech Amphibian! Today I bought a Master of Defense CQD Mark1.. I see I am getting really addicted here. O yea and 2 weeks ago I got a SOG seal, and week before that a Kabar. God help me please@! Any suggestions to someone who sees "SHINY" and can't refuse to buy?:p

My advice...get a bigger credit card :D

The CQD is one of my favourite knives...that having been said, I think it's time for you to start exploring customs...oh yeah, that'll cure you :D

Welcome to the family! At least you've got great taste in knives! Oh the knives I would have if only I had the credit limit. This forum definately isn't the site if you're looking for ways to fight your addiction, just give in like the rest of us.

R-O-F-L

Well in my defense.. at least im not spending the money on drugs or whatever else retards can spend money on. Heh I guess I joined up with you loonies buying knives just because we need the "SHINY" My bank account is loosing weight however, :p (least one of us is) Just a quick question cause I am a lunatic with feeling re-assured as im shure most of us here can be.. Rated on 1-10(10 being good) what would you rate my newest addition?

P.S. Is there a point where I can say NO?! lol

Just start practicing; "Hello, my name is Aniketos, and I am a Knifeaholic!:D :)

I am going through the same thing buddy.......there's nothing you can do to stop it, you can only slow it's progress.

I just bought a small knife display case to help slow my purchasing by trying not to fill it up to quick. Now I could just go and buy another display case......but that's not the point.

P.S. I think I'd have more luck quitting smoking than knife collecting!:(

Yeah, it is easier to quit smoking. When you start adding up the price of cigarettes per year and how many high-end productions and customs you could have bought instead. :grumpy:

hmmm.....I think about 3-5 high end productions per year at my rate of smoking.

It's too late now though......Marlboro has got me locked in for life.

This suks.....now I need a smoke. Back in a minute.:(

Great! The first step is admitting you have a problem...

Don't fight it, just let it flow.

And when you have a suitcase full of knives like me, the feeling will diminish slightly...maybe.

Resistance is Futile...

To add to what the previous poster said, yes, KA is a 12 step program, you have to buy at least 12 knives per year...

But, you wont get any help from me, misery loves company, besides, when im homeless, pushing my shopping cart full of knives, i want to have a few others to talk to. :)
