I am not the best photographer as you can see, but I am really interested in what date this knife is from. I can't find anywhere that says that is even a typical case stamp. Thanks for your help in advance.
Total length is 8 3/8" Blade length is 4 3/8"

Made between '40-'65
Pattern 362, with leather/fiber handle and chromed blade.
Really nice knife, even though I don't like fixed blades.
 
I've seen these before, but were all beat-up and rusted. Nice one, being so clean and all!
 
Thanks, there is quite a bit of scuffing on the chrome and looks like an amateur has sharpened it once or twice, but is rust free :)
