Anyone good with photoshop? Could you show me what this knife might look like with 'silver tweed or blue G-10' for example. That would be really helpful.
Thanks for all the advice so far. But for all the G-10 lovers, what makes it better than Micarta??? I honestly dont know. Please explain.

Well, either more research on your part, on the internet, or perhaps get samples of both materials (from knife supply sites) and experiment with those, or, buy two less expensive knives with G10 and Micarta and decide after a while.
When you make decisions in a hurry, chances are higher for a wrong decision (applies to dating much more so than knife purchase).
In my experience, the texture put on G10 handles is grippy, but the material itself is not grippy in the same way that canvas micarta is. When canvas micarta gets wet the canvas fibers seem to swell on the surface and make it even grippier. I’ve never noticed this with G10.
