This evening I found a knife lying on the ground. It has no markings on it, so I have no idea what the brand or model is. Strangely, while the blade and scales appear rather worn, the clip is quite shiny. I'd like some help identifying it, please.

I don't know if any markings on it have worn off, or if it's just some generic piece of junk that never had any markings to being with.

It's a flipper with liner lock. There is no assist feature. The overall length with blade deployed is just over 7"; with blade folded, it's 4"; and the blade itself, from tip to base of sharpened part, is around 2-7/8". It has dual thumb studs.

Wow...I haven't seen one of these bad boys for YEARS! In fact I think the last one I saw go on eBay fetched upwards of $500? If I recall I believe it was a rare sprint run from one of the big name manufacturers but with it not being marked I can't seem to remember who exactly manufactures it. Definitely a sought after blade though...

Ok...I'm sorry. Something made me do that. (probably too tired and should be in bed lol)

It's a $4 Walmart knife, you can find more info here:

EDIT: Awe Adam, you snuck in front of me [emoji1]

It looks like the Ozark trail knife Cutlery Lover has on Youtube. Look for any numbers from manufacturing man, but hey.... A free knife is still cool

It's a decent beater blade thou...I haven't managed to break mine even thou Ive batoned with it and other tasks considered abuse with a folder. Makes for a good loaner knife, or for tasks not worthy of dulling your good knife.
