Yes, bleev3, the big daddy I pictured above indeed has half stops on both blades, with the springs nearly flush (both just a fraction proud at half stop). It's one of the finest slippies I own. You gotta get one!

I stand corrected! I handled one before would have sworn there were no half stops.

half stops are a users preference. They are said to make the joints last longer, supposed to be safer, although I have been bitten by them. I like a smooth single action to open a blade myself. A lot of people prefer half stops.
