I got scammed on an Archery Board (archerytalk.com) :( The guys over there are just like you knifeknuts, great bunch of guys. :) I did a trade plus cash with a forum member and he's disappeared with cash and my arrow rest. I used a USPS money order to pay him. If I contact the Postal inspectors will they get the money and my rest back?
Here's a link where I'm trying to the the POS to contact me:

Do any of you have any other suggestions? I'll make a knife for anyone that goes and collects my stuff from this POS ;)

Thanks guys,
Will

Call the Postmaster and he will get you in touch with the Postal Inspectors. I had to use them once when a scumbag tried to rip me off and they arrested the offender who ended up in Club Fed. The offender also made restitution of my money, he would have spent longer in the big house if he didn't.

I've fortunately never had occasion to sic the Postal Inspectors on anybody, but I understand that if they suspect mail fraud somebody's in deep.

Give them a call, put those tax dollars to work.

fishbulb, I strongly concur on calling in the Postal Inspectors. I do not agree that by doing so you are getting value for your tax dollars. The US Postal Service, including the Postal Inspectorate, is funded solely by revenue from the sale of goods and services. We went off tax revenues about 1975. :)
