Добро пожаловать to Bladeforums.

The blades look good. I think the larger knife with stag crown handle would have looked better with the crown at the end instead of at the front.

Note - I think the word you wanted for the dark finish was "etched" or "patinated", not anodized.

Thanks for Your opinion)
About etched or patinated, he made it more for steel protection, not only for decorate, but if You told what "etched","patinated" is more correct words, we will certainly take note of the Your comment

I like the look too. Eye catching, unique creative designs. Even the first one with the crown of the antler at the front of the handle instead of the back. It looks better than I would have expected. The only knife I'm not a fan of is the middle one in the last post. It seems too rustic for me. The rest really look good to me.

Have you thought about a small blade guard? I've sliced my hands a few times with puko styles knives with wet or bloody hands. I tend to be a little clumsy sometimes though

blade limiter("ограничитель" or "гарда" on russian)?
i don't know how it's correctly on English)

да. ограничитель is the closest word I can think of. In English we would call it a blade guard or just the guard.

And in terms of calling the blade "anodized" it has a very specific meaning in English. It means when you run electricity though a metal to build up an oxide coating. Metals like aluminum and titanium can be anodized. What your cousin did is called etching, it involves using an acid to do etch a new layer into the steel, and is not as strong or protective as anodizing.

какая часть России является ваш кузен в ?

"I also want to apologize for my terrible russian. I used to speak it with my babysitter when I was very very young"

I read description to "anodizing", i think what "black oxide" or "blackening" is more correctly(i hope wikipedia shouldn't lie:D)
Technical(specific) terminology in other language not so easy

We are from Ural, between the East European and West Siberian plains)

The flaws that were mentioned on the first cable blade are the cold shuts that run into to blade edge. You can see several of the non welded (cold shut) cable strands but the ones that cause problems go all the way to the edge. Forging perfect cable is difficult. Have him keep at it and it will come together eventually.
