Please help with blade steels

Ok Guys, I just got a Needs Work and Groove. First off I was surprised that neither knife was made in China, but was very intrested in want steel was used in each blade. Can someone help me with that? Thanks Martin

Both use the Sandvik 13C26. It's a really great steel. Takes and holds a really good edge.

Also note that Speed Safe knives are not made anywhere but the US of A and very few Kershaws are made in China.
