That is simply not true. I've dropped a bone handled stockman on ceramic tile and aside from a dent on the bolster, it was fine. If it had been just a bone shadow pattern it probably would have shattered.

I think it's interesting that most of the answers are non-blade related functions. I get it, I even carried a TL-29 today for the screwdriver, with something else as my knife for cutting. But I generally rate my knife by how well it cuts.

Having never used a CV Case Sodbuster, I don't know what it can't do. How thin behind the edge is the blade? Is it a good slicer? Then it would probably do everything I'd want from a knife blade. It would look good doing it, too.

Since you now have your do-everything knife, B BrotherJim , can we expect you to be selling off the rest of your now-unnecessary collection?

...but they can't claim to be from Switzerland, fit easily in most jeans 5th pocket, pick a tick from your dog (safely), etc.

Nice! my wife and her mother have a coconut grinder blade like that mounted on a stool, they cook a lot of dishes with fresh coconut and the milk.
