Please pardon my ignorance, where to buy a Busse?

I wasn't even aware of these rules, but I can tell you right now they aren't being followed.

If you think you see a violation of the rules, then you should report it.

Everyone who tries to say those rules are being broken misses the part where they say "regularly".

Buying a knife with intent to resell does not automatically make you a dealer.

Climb14er, you are not ignorant at all. It is very confusing for the newbies to understand how it all works and where to go if you want to buy one. I am certainly no expert, but here is some of what I have learned so far. There are only two models available at on the main Busse site right now. The company store has a couple of different ones available. As a newbie, I whined and got busted (even from the man himself). I gathered some good feedback, read some more, and even got email from someone to explain a bit to me in a very nice manner. Since then I have ordered a FBM from the website, like suggested in an earlier post here, and picked up a couple of new GW's in the exchange. Those will go nicely with the INFI that I already had. There are lots of INFI's out there for sale if you want to purchase them. Some are really good deals considering you (and I) missed out on the run. Hopefully there will be some sort of notice when the new models are going to be available on the web site and we will be able to order one at the original purchase price. If not, there are some good folks on here who sell them in the exchange. You can check the good bad and ugly for feedback on the sellers.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm looking for a 3.5 inch fixed blade that's very strong and holds a fine edge.

It will be part of the knives I rotate through when I head deep into the backcountry on climbing trips.

I'd like a Game Warden in a black Micarta or something similar. The really large knives have no interest for me as I have a 3.50 inch limit here in Colorado and I share this with all respect, and don't like to wield a machete type of knife. Others do and that's fine, I like a smaller working knife.

I'll check the boards and keep my eyes open. If someone would like to contact me, feel free to send me a PM.
