Please pick design 1 or 2

Hey Guys, i'm trying to fine tune this knife design before i go further with heat treating and finishing up the blade. I only have enough handle material for one of them right now. I just cant decide which one to put a handle on , i like them both but they have subtle differences, if you wouldn't mind can you pick one or the other for me at least and if you don't mind tell me why you picked the one you did, if not just post a 1 or a 2 and thats also fine.

Oh yeah, 1 is the top 2 is the bottom...

I pick 2, it looks to me like the handle would be more contoured to a natural grip.

Yeah, definitely number 2. the handle looks right to me, and the blade is longer/pointier, I like it

I pick 1. I don't like fine tips, as I am scared to break them.

Its a better design IMO. Looks mote comfortable, looks more evolved. The guard looks more comfortable and it looks to be more usable near the handle which is where control comes from. Not even a contest IMHO. I would buy #2 but wouldn't even consider the first.

2nd, just looks a lot more usable with the tip and the handle look much more comfortable. Just paracord wrap the other for the time being as I would presume you would want to heat treat them both at the same time.

I would open up the finger groove on #1 and finish it. The shorter clip looks to be a bit more stable and utilitarian, to me.

The longer point looks good, but I tend to prefer the shorter, stiffer tips on this style of knife.

The blade of 1 but the handle of 2. The second one looks nice, but is a less usable size than the first--however the handle on the second one is better.

thanks so far for the input, looks like it's going to be #2 based on the results so far, i'll make a decision tomorrow when i heat treat them, things could change tho, keep votin' please!

Nice blades. I vote for 1.

I prefer the finger groove on the first one to the second. It just looks more comfortable to hold. Also, while the blade length difference is not much between the two, the tip of the first will likely hold up better. Besides, if you wanted to do some fine detail work, you should be using a smaller knife IMO...

To me, at least, the first knife would be preferable. That being said, they both look like they'd be good blades.
