back for a quick update!, the heat treating didn't go as planned i found out it never really got that hard so i rigged up a forge out of a little BBQ and hair dryer my sister had and did all the blades again, they got cherry red this time and i quenched them all in canola oil, so i'm going to re-sand them all over again for the third time and hope this time they got hard, they are tempering now then on to sanding tonight....

i'm back with a bit of an update, today i put micarta scales on one of the knives, not quite finished yet but i'm tired of sanding for today, i should have this one finished up by tomorrow!
