To the members of BladeForums involved:

I am the real jtstrider. I just became aware of this little incident tonight from another roomate. Please let me explain. I live here in my house along w/four other young adults(some of us!) and i am the owner of the jtstrider screen name and email address. When we first started living here I had my computer up in my room but felt bad when my roomates had to drive 20 minutes to school so I eventually put it downstairs for everyone to have access to. I'm sure any of u that have been to college know how big of a necessity a computer is for essays, research, etc. I even went as far as to let some of the other guys use my screen name, email address, and even paypal account to pay for stuff they wanted and they'd pay me back in cash. I personally have not made any deals w/anyone on Bladeforums and did not know all of this was going on. Yes, I've checked my emails lately but it looks like they have done a pretty good job of deleting ones that I wasn't supposed to see. Its mostly two different roomates in particular and I found out from another roomate that had overheard them talking about and let me in on it. Needless to say these two roomates are bonehaeds, but I assure you they are not crooks. I also made sure they sent Mr. Grag(Gragg?) the knives that they owed him because all of this is going on under my screen name. Yes, it was idiotic of me to give them permission to use my screen name and email address and now I will suffer the consequences(being banned from this forum) of not covering my @@@. I only signed up on BF a few days ago and I personally have yet to even do any trading on here or buy anything off a web knifestore. The only purchase I've made lately is a utility hak from Ms. Frontsight(payed for already) that I'm waiting on. I know their are those of you who might not believe this or will still demand I be hung in front of the courthouse at highnoon along with all of the other infidels. Can't say I blame them either. Needless, to say the comp. will be going back up to my room(always locked) and my passwords will be changed. My email will stay the same because too many of my friends in the sandbox know it now to change it(going to college to hopefully get out and fly the mighty F-15 Strike Eagle. Although its looking like it might be a JSF or Raptor by the time I get my wings.) But I just want people to know if they ever get an email from me that its not from a punkmf'er whose disrespectful and downright stupid(i.e. my roomates). I do apologize for any of the comments they have made on this forum, and I especially aplogize for any comments they have made about Strider knives. I do not expect this to keep me from getting banned, I just wish to have my side of the story told. I was going to have my two roomates post an apology on here also, but I'm not sure they could handle it without making themselves look even more like scuzbuckets(I know its harsh, but they've really f#####d up an awesome thing for me). Could very well happen, and his prose is somewhat different that the offending threads from before, but as said above, time will tell as will the delivery.

MAYBE this is all genuine, but how many times has somebody made an arse of themselves here, copped a huge amount of well deserved flak, then returned with a heartfelt apology and assorted excuses?

I reserve judgement!

Disturbing stuff, a phone call can usually clear things up quickly, as you
can tell often in their tone if they are on the level or not, worth the call
if the number is legit, or he could email you his real number now and
sort it all out and put it behind him.

I am ringing the Bullshiiit bell on this one too..

JStrider was cold busted selling or attempting to trade a knife that he still had not completed a transaction on..then he claims that its his roomates that used his account...lets see thats original..

TTO two years ago claimed his brother was also using his account when he was cold busted screwing someone..

Celtech was also busted and claimed his Bullshiit story was also not his doing but another person using his account...

You sir are a Liar...and a thier..and a lowlife and dont give me a big Patiriotic B.S. story about how your going to get your wings and fly raptors...blah blah..

your a permanant member of the list..and YOU NEED TO FINISH YOUR TRADES OR RETURN THE KNIVES YOU STOLE...POS

I am amazed with the bullshit people come up with to cover their own ass. :rolleyes: Roommates...likely story....nothing we haven't heard before when someone is backed into a corner with their ass exposed.

If you follow my directive, and get RRG his knives, posting a confirmation number here by Friday, you will not be banned.

If you indeed allowed others to use your account, then it is you that is ultimately responsible to make good on this deal. No excuses will relieve you of this responsibility.

Please make sure you log off of the forums each time you leave, so no one else can use your account.

Good point! In fact that deserves explanation in detail: look near the top of any page at Bladeforums. You'll see a bar with "User CP" at the left and "Log Out" at the right end. Click on "Log Out" before you leave Bladeforums any time you're using a computer that others could have access to.
 
The only way to undo the damage, assuming you're legit, is to have a sale or trade (if anyone is brave enough) at complete it at 100% do that about 7-50 times and you're flyin' right.

These forums exists for the good guys, BF.com isn't for suckers.
Most the long timers here have the integrity and all around goodness most the folks never come around to.

I hope your story is true and the knives get back to their rightful owner RRG. I hope, if it is true, that you've learned you weren't really helping anyone by paying their own way for them.

Stick around, lurk, read and enjoy the forums, maybe participate in a few low-voltage discussions. These forums exist on trust. It takes time to establish and a lot more time to re-establish. It can be done.
