Hello cutlery aficionados,

I'd like you to suggest me all the knives that you can think of, and that resembles or mimics Al Mar Eagle HD which I like very much.
So it should be tactical folding stiletto, light and slim, yet somewhat longish blade length wise, 3,5" - 4" minimum, with good steel (like ZDP-189 variety of Al Mar...).
Traditional slip-joints do not comply, it should be modern opening/lock system, modern materials, no automatics!
Slimmest tactical blades that I can think of are Benchmade 943, and Emerson Gentleman Jim, but I would like even more slim and lightweight suggestions, just like Al Mar Eagle HD...if you know what I mean...

Please post pictures!

Thanks!

I've heard the new cold steel broken skull being compared to the eagle. Although cts xhp is no zdp-189 it is a respectable steel

They ain't one.

I went through the same search a few years ago. The 4" folder blade is rarer than it should be in an appealing knife.

Like Comeuppance, I ended up with a Ti-Lite. And I'll unabashedly say I'm glad I did. Had the Eagle HD been built like their SERE I may have considered one further. Great knives though I'm sure.

I dun' get the Broken Skull comparison at all. And you might check out an Emerson Persian (PTAC) as an alternative.

ZT 452CF should fit the bill.
It's not a back lock but it comes close. Carbon fiber, Titanium and CPM-S35VN.

Cold Steel broken skull. Dopey name, but great knife and much friendlier on the wallet.

I dunno. I sold my Eagle HD (to fund another, less common Al Mar) and now want another one. I really haven't seen anything out there quite like it. Though I am going to see how the ZT450 scratches that itch.

Yes I see resemblance in Ti-Lite, not as much in ZT 452 or Broken Skull though... I like Broken Skull and I'll get one for sure, but it's a different kind of beast all together...not a slim stiletto blade.
I'll pass on ZT, do not find resemblance with Al Mar Eagle in it...other then longish blade...but great knife never the less...same as Pattada but not what I'm looking for in this topic.

Please continue?
