Patrick, what a terrible thing to have happened to your Mom. I can hear how consumingly worried you are.

She will be in my thoughts and prayers as will you and your whole family.

Thanks! Hey buddy how is that 25? Screws holding up? She was livelier last night. Yet very forgetful. Sodium levels are very low due to fluid, saline being forced to elevate BP. SOME nausea still. And headache. Basically stoned from pain meds Nd confusion. At least there is humor. ;) I keep messing with her. My sisters yell at me. But being a healthcare professional I am aware of how humor and mild perversion helps.
 
Been praying though. Staying strong. Some tears on my own. Trying not to cry. For if needed I will do more of it down the road. Trying to be positive. Seems everyday she is better and better.
 
It's a slow road back. Meds are definitely going to make her out of it. Interesting, my Mom lost one thing after her ordeal. She has difficulty with calendar time. No issues with time of day or keeping her appointments but she doesn't know if February is after January or July follows June. She also has tunnel vision in her left eye. Other than those 2 oddities she's as good as before. Actually she's even better in some areas. Prior to her aneurism she had lost her appetite for a couple years and had become really frail and thin. She forced herself to eat. Since the incident she got her appetite back, loves eating, and has gained a lot if weight back. Anyway, keep up the good work and sounds like your Mom is through the worst of it!!
 
Very happy to hear some good news, I'll keep praying for her.

The 25 is doing fine warming a drawer, tried to use it but with two other large users its hard to mess that one up. I really like the knife and all of the thought that went into so many minor changes but it just has t grown on me enough to love it yet- sometimes I think about selling it, but I'm torn.
The thing that puts me off of it is the change of how it deploys, wether its the minor changes to the location of the pivot to the thumb stud, or the insane detent I just don't know, but its a pain in the ass to open! I have to hold it in a funny grip to even make it remotely ok and it's just akward, if I hold it like any regular/classic/21 I just can't get the damn thing open and on the odd occasion that I do the arc of the stud is off and the whole opening just goes bad. It's strange I know but after using CRK's as my edc's for years this one just doesn't seem right. I love the strength of the knife, materials, ergo's of it open, grind, jimping, etc but it just seems off to me; I think about wether to keep it or sell it daily.
I'll let you know if I ever figure it out, finally posted a vid on it though, check it out.

Father we thank you for all your blessings, I ask this favor not out of vain for only you hold the perfect plan for each of us, but rather love and fear as in these times the worst has overcome many and I fear all that is not through you. Nurse is putting her in a chair currently. She had some pizza tonight too. ;) still not out of the woods. Yet we see some hills in the distance. Thanks everyone. Keep the faith or smoke signals.
