I like the fact that this knife is stainless steel and the shape looks amazing not to mention i have heard the egonomics are also quite good.

My main concern is the s35vn steel and its toughness/durability? How much would it take to break the horkos? It has quite a hefty pricetag so i'd hope it is quite a strong knife.

I don't own one, but judging by the specs I'd say that if you manage to break that thing it's because you either did it on purpose or because of a defect that I'm sure they'd make right.

Not my style, but I wouldn't be worried about its durability.

I own several Spartan blades, all very well made. As Twisted said you'd have to seriously be abusing the knife to worry about it breaking, it's a solid knife, their heat treat is done by a company who knows what they're doing. Great knife, you shouldn't worry about quality when buying.

I don't own the horkos, but I do own the nyx, Enyo, and the Phobos. All are Chris Reeve level of quality, but I like the heat treat much better. The nyx has a similar handle, so with that said I don't care for the handle scales. If you have smaller hands or use gloves you might like them. I prefer a little more meat on the handle of a knife that size. Would suggest then going for the Difensa or the harsey hunter. Cost more, but the handles are perfect.
