Nope, you certainly shouldn't thank them. For not refunding the shipping they deserve the negative feedback. To keep the money paid for shipping when nothing has been shipped is tantamount to theft.

I would think that IS theft. I would contact Ebay, and report them for their bogus actions. You should be able to get that money back, since nothing was shipped.

I was the idiot who bought this thinking it was a Kabar

I know nothing was shipped. It is a practical matter for me. I got $6 back and put an end to it. Rather than get the stupid POS knife which I really don't want.

I should get my money back because his ad misleadingly says this knife retails for $98, but I can't prove that it does or doesn't and it isn't worth the bother. I am better off putting my energies into other stuff. Even though I don't have the knife as a reminder of my stupidity, I have the memory and the embarrassment, which should serve me as cheap tuition for a valuable lesson
