Since I have come across ESEE on BF I was drooling non-stop over the knives and gear. I though that once I bought one and got to get her dirty it would get better.... It has gotten a million times worse. I sitting her trying to think of ways I can get some extra money just to buy more ESEE knives... What in the hell has happened to me????????????? I think we need to start a RAT Pack Support group...
 
Wish I had better news, but you've got the sickness. The only known cure is more ESEE knives. Have some more of the Kool-Aid...you'll feel better. :thumbup:
 
If you end up getting it real bad, Jeff makes you a Moderator. If that doesn't cure it, he makes your wife a Mod too. That normally does it though.
 
Game over man, just go with it and buy more knives.

Sure it gets better. after you buy them all....you start buying multiples.....
 
I had to start buying other knives again as I got most of the Esees and some spares. Don't worry if you buy other knives though... they still like you here !!
 
This feeling......it can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with.....it doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear.....and it absolutely will not stop......EVER......until you own every style of knife available and some serrated versions.

You've come to the wrong place, we don't help people overcome their knife addiction - we're what is known as 'enablers'.

It's too late for you anyway, once you decided you wanted an ESEE you had already lost the first battle, once you held it in your hand the war was already over. You are one of us now and all you can do is start saving for your next ESEE. Don't worry about running out of ESEEs to buy, there will always be more that you need. Even when you buy a HEST folder that only keep you happy until the ESEE-3 Folder comes out.

Speaking of 'enablers' - do you have a Lite Machete yet? They are amazing, you need one!

It is important to take care of where the knife addiction takes you, stay on the path of carbon steel & plain edges or you will be in trouble.

I sold a Dozier fixed blade and got a 5 & 6 many moons ago. It's a sickness that has no cure....not that I want one.

I honestly think it's part great knife and part great company. No questions asked warranty and no BS. Once you're here a little while, it's like a family. You make fun of some folks, they make fun of you but I'd hate to see what would happen if someone came around here and tried to mess with someone from the family.

Plain and simple. I've got the disease and I'll keep it, thank you very much.

(Just wish I had more cash to buy more myself, hehe)
