Hey RX
If you've got a pic of that barong prototype, could you post it? I need a new wallpaper for my desktop:)

Sal, it was an honor to meet you.
I was really amazed by your patience in answering everyone's questions.
I especially liked the kind way you answered that older Chinese lady's questions about the pocket clips.
You remember her don't you? The one carrying that really big, really sharp sword???:D
Did you hire that girl EMT who was flicking that Bali-pen around? My buddy Kelly and I talked about her skill on the way back to Canada.
She was really good.

Don't forget, there's a Barong folder with my name on it when they come out.

Cheers
Dave

I am glad you guys got to meet and spend time with Sal.

Every time I have talked with him I come away with the feeling that I have spent time with a kind and patient man of high ethics.

Bastid,

That is probably the most accurate description that I have heard:thumbup:

I never managed to meet Sal, but a real nice gentleman by the name of Sean Connery showed me some neat autos!

Yeah I told Sean that the years hadn't been kind to him - just kidding Sal! Truly a warm and convivial gentleman who loves to discuss his products. There were so many great new knives, I can't believe I didn't bring a camera!! Actually the one I am really excited about is the small wharnie slipjoint in orange G10, sort of a mini Caly Jr w/o a lock. SUPER handy for office environments, and due to the choil it can't close on your finger. There were many exotic knives as well, including the Barong and Rock Lobster, and an awesome D/A alled the Ensign I think, but the little guy won my heart.

I appreciate the kind words, thanx much.

Actually the pleasure was mine. Gail and I get to meet the people we work for. We get good input on existing and new models.

We joined the club in the early 80's. I've been there every year since.

A very nice group. A nice show.
