Plunge fix

How can I fix the plunge line on bottom pic. I seem to hit my platten when I grind on that side. Plus with the funky plunge angle I had a hard time.

Bring both plunges back towards the ricasso a bit and make sure you track the belt off the side the same amount.

So it is okay to run the belt off the side of the platten?

Yes. That's how you get a nice radius at the top.
