Hey folks,

I would like to know what is the street value of a BNIB para 2 in s90v and cf? I recently got one but I feel like I payed somewhat more than it should of cost. Any info would be appreciated.

The last two I saw on eBay sold in the $325-$350 range. I've seen them on other forums for as high as $380-$400 as well.

I have seen some go for around the $25-280 range too!

If you see any more please send me a link to that to:D Just kidding with you from the other thread:p

OP, I don't want one bad enough to pay $350, but if you paid around that you did OK. I've seen some go for more.

Sir_Mike seems to see all the knives at all the prices I would like to see!!!!

But OP I have seen them get snatched up from anywhere around $300. There is no price that is too much if you want the product, thats how I see it. That is an awesome knife with an awesome steel.

Sorry for the typo, I have not seen the go for $25 to $280....I have seen them go from $250-280 from time to time.

It's A Pretty High Dollar Knife, So I Figure As Long As You Didn't Shell Out What You Would To Get A Semi-Custom Or Something You Probably Did Well.

I've Seen Them Go From Anywhere Between $250 - $400.

I can understand that point but the knife I got was perfect. No sticky lock, pivot was smooth as heck and the CF showed no wear. Only thing found upon inspection were a few scratches on the clip.

I believe $250 is really good price for NIB. I would certainly prefer $250 for NIB than $230 for lightly used.

Given the choice, maybe so. Given very limited availability you have to take what you can find. It is hard to pin down an exact price for such an item because there aren't enough of them on sale for a good consensus. Some items I watch on ebay there are enough for sale that the going price is well established and auction results don't vary much from that going price.

Where the heck are you guys finding these things for $230? I've been looking forever and they are all going over $300, and rarely under $350. I'd sure be happy to pay $250 for one new in box. Any leads?

Cost me a small sebenza, but when I mean NIB I mean this thing looks like it was just made yesterday. Still has the paperwork, and the wrapping, it looks crisp. I guess 1st1903 said it best, no price is to high for something you want. But w.e. deal is done, and I have no regrets. I don't look at it as a negative thing because there aren't many cutlery shops in my area and the few that are, have huge mark ups. To give you an example, a s35vn pm 2 is ~$217 with tax included or if you want to go into the limited edition range, they had a kershaw volt 3600 going for $650 which with my local sales tax would be around $706 total.

So to actually have a para like this, on the ground, and in my hand. Just seems amazing. It's just extremely hard for me to find these types of products, with these materials, anywhere locally. I have to basically get what I can. In this case, I think I did well.
