So like many before me and a lot more after me.seen the rit dye experiment and I refer it as such because we all never know the ending results.so,here is my 2am compulsive therapy session.after endless searches on water to vinegar to dye ratio I finally found something on an old thread I can at least be in the ball park.I settled with 2 cups water 1 cup vinegar and maybe 6 Oz of the liquid rit dye looked hi and low for powder form.No success. So seeing something where others have used liquid.i gave it a go.after bringing mix to a boil I dropped in my digi cam scales in concoction for around 12 mins maybe longer lost track of time after checking the 2nd time checking for taking of the dye.i was worried for a min because my dye didnt look nothing like what i was going for.I must say I was going for more brighter blue but ended up with more of a shrink to fit denim color blue but I must say I'm very happy with the results.and I added a blue anodized ti backspacer for a lil touch.wanted to share with you guys.what u guys think?

Dang! I personally like it a lot. I didn't know you could do this, thanks for sharing, I learned something new. That backspacer looks awesome too. The PM2 is one of my favorite knives of all time, I carried one for 3 years straight until about 3 weeks ago, and I miss its lightness and usefulness, it is the perfect EDC blade for me, along with the Native 5 and the Southard. Nice job man.

I forgot, I wonder how it would look in brown.

Thanks pal,I would say go for it with the brown.just keep in mind whatever base color you start with will determine the results.

Thanks man, is this the dye you usually use for clothing? I think I know which one it is, but just making sure.

I really like it, looks fantastic! Does Rit make more than one color blue? I gave away some digi camo scales a while ago, now I want em back :-). I wonder how it will wear? Show it to us after a couple months of pocket time. Thanks for sharing, excellent job!
