I've checked online for the details and watched a couple videos. I'm not convinced this is fake, but I was told that it is. Any help confirming one way or the other would be appreciated. I can add more pics if needed. Thanks in advance for the help.

Whoever told you that was a fake was trying to show off. Fit and finish look perfect, it's got all the right blade etching, and most telling, it has a Compression Lock that apparently works.

Where'd you buy it, OP?

Thank you, I bought it off ebay. The seller said it came from BladeHQ.

Slanted jimping, chamfered lanyard hole, notched liners, blade markings - check.

And looks just like my blacked-out PM2.

The only things that someone might find "odd" in those photos are what appear to be a single non-blackened screw securing the rear standoff and some scratches in the DLC coating. All the screws should be blackened, and DLC may show scuff marks where something else has rubbed off on it, but is very difficult to scratch.

I noticed that too, about the screws. It kind of looks like they were sanded or something

that's the only thing i noticed that struck me as possibly off. everything else looks exactly like my pm2. if it's a fake, it's a damn "good" one.

What's the deal with those notches? I noticed them on mine and was curious.
No "deal", just an artifact of the method used to cut the liners out of a sheet of steel, but occasionally someone decides that a small notch that can only be seen by looking inside a knife's handle is a "defect in workmanship".
