PM2 Lock Stick and Blade Play Help

I wouldn't bother sending it in. You took it apart and modified it (polishing the washers which I personally think can make blade play worse). I doubt they would honor the warranty.

I understand that, I'm the type of guy who would rather fix things my self anyway.

Try tightening the stop pin screws with just the bit and your fingers and then adjust the pivot so theres no play. I did this with mine when I had the same issue and the screws haven't loosened up and it flicks and locks awesome.

I have tried this and it didn't seem to change much, glad it worked for you though!

After cleaning it out with warm water, it seemed to have removed the up and down play and the lock stick, but the side to side play still remains unless the pivot screws are cranked down super tight.

I saw a video a long time ago made by a guy in Spain, can no longer find it. Anyhow he showed in this video that all the parts must be perfectly alined during re-assembly and how easy it was to mess it up. Maybe this is your problem ?
If I recall correctly the order in which the components were re-assembled also made a difference.

Last night I was yet again fiddling around with my PM2 when I thought, why not try putting more oil in the pivot area? The results were great, it was way smoother yet the pivot screws were still the same tightness, but some up and down play remained. So I took it apart and slightly bent the compression lock to the right to allow the lock to engage more. Voilà! My PM2 is now smooth and locks up solid as a rock!

Thanks all for the advice
