PM2 vs Shaman: A New Look

The OP has now done two things I love (or rather, hate):
1. Issue a challenge/test/whatever that we, not he, are supposed to take up, and of course become bothered when things don't go the way he would like
2. Followed by the inevitable "I'm outta here."
Isn't posting and running against the rules?

In reality, I don't think the Shaman was ever supposed to be a "beefier" PM2; it was actually a beefier Manix 2. Look at the blade shapes and sizes of the Native 5, Manix 2, Shaman, and PM2. The left 3 easily identify as a family (even if they didn't all have green handles), while the PM2 clearly has a different blade shape.

For as much as I like my PM2, this picture just sums up how ugly the rest of Spyderco line up is. The Manix 2 is great, but I'm sure something can be done to make it slightly more appealing.

Different strokes and all that.... but I really find them far more attractive than other brands.

I always thought that the PM2 was a great tactical blade. While the Shaman was great for sacrifices, potions, and such. These are obviously very different purposes and thus the two blades shouldn’t be compared.
