Pm3

Yeah it seems the world is shrinking around me. But the marketing wizards seldom listen. They will sell themselves.

I've had the Military and PM2 in my rotation for years now, but living in San Francisco there are a few restrictions for blade length and a sub 3" PM would be pretty great.

A smaller PM2 will be great for areas with length restrictions! Plus, frankly I'll buy one just to complete the set of military + para military + smaller paramilitary.

I'm guessing the blade length will come in at 2.9x inches, as it's been developed as a response to locations with 3" blade regulations.

Frankly I'm beginning to lose hope at this point. It seems it been"in the works" forever. Maybe next year.

I think they are running their factory at capacity now. In order to increase the chances of them making a PM3 you need to stop buying the PM2.

Well, they more than tripled the factory size just a little over a year ago, so there should be room for new product lines. My guess is that they're not satisfied with the results yet to rush something into production.

The PM2 keeps selling out often! I don't think the sales for that knife will drop off anytime soon. I'm sure we can expect it to be a legendary EDC like the 940 has turned into

It hasn't reached ESEE Izula folder level yet[emoji14]

Very true it has not yet. I suspect that it will definitely hit that level if it is delayed until mid next year. The anticipation seems higher for this in its initial stages

Not to derail here, bit shouldn't a smaller version have a completely different name than Paramilitary? I mean didn't the original PM get it's name because it was a smaller version of the Military? The Para itself was redesigned, not resized. hence it's PM2 designation. So shouldn't another, even smaller version, have a name derived from the original Military? Such as Military Police, Militia, or something along those lines.

I would figure a PM3 would be yet another update of the original PM design. Not a completely new model.

Just some food for thought.

It will have a completely different name. Folks are just using "PM3" for discussion sake until the official name of the new knife is announced.
