This one took me a while. It turned out a little more complicated than I had originally planned. The welt is 6 layers thick at the top opening of the sheath. The front is set up so I can hook a smaller bushcraft or neck knife to it. I set the back up so I could carry it horizontally or attach it to my pack. The knife is a beast. It is a little over 1/4 inch thick CPM 3V.
All comments welcome as usual.

That is a beast! Have you given her a beating yet? I like the piggyback concept, I have a couple of rigs that are set up that way.

Thanks! No beating yet. I am heading out for a 3 day backpacking trip in three weeks. I am taking the PML with me. I will take pics and post them here.

I look forward to seeing that... How are you carrying it? I usually find myself attaching big guys like that to my pack.....

I am going to try it on my waist, both vertically and horizontally. I will probably end up attaching it to my pack.

What's the little guy in the orange sheath? Looks like a comfortable handle for such a compact design.

That is a PML wharncliffe. Paul's handles are second to none in comfort. I will get some pics of the small knife and add them to this thread.

Hey, I think I recognize that Pack Pal! Looks like the same lanyard I had on it when it was new :D
