Pocket(able) Fixed Blades

I really like pocket fixed blades. I have a small stable of them that I think are VERY nice. Gene Ingram makes a killer knife in this size. Also of note for making beautiful kinives that are useful and can be put in the pocket would be Chase Axinn and James McGowan. I have knives by both of these gentlemen and they are BOTH killer- with good blade-to-handle ratios and very good balance. Its small, discreet, and doesn't involve clips being seen on your pants. Of course the down side of these knives is that they're often illegal for carry in a lot of places. Funny, you could get 6 months in jail in some places for having a little 2.5" bladed fixed blade, but pulling out a CUDA Maxx is no problem at all! Now THAT'S strange.

Just recentley recieved one of Matt Shade's little fixed blades (similar to the one he so kindly provided for us crazt people to Passaround!! ). I had the one in the Passaround for two weeks, fell in love with it !!! Making a long story short, my wife (bless her heart!) ordered one for my birthday. Mine has black linen micarta scales instead of the wooden scales on the Pass knife, and 1/2 " more blade. Came in a nice kydex pocket sheath. I can't seem to put this little gem down!! Find myself looking for stuff to cut,( Howdy neighbor, can I open those envelopes for you? Not quite that bad yet, but almost!) Anyway, I can highly recommend Matt's work, and work ethic, and prices, and he is a fine fellow who will work with you any way he can!! By the way, if y'all don't know, he's a member here also !! Has a stainless steel blade as well so if you sweat whilst it's in your pocket it won't tarnish the blade ;)
 
I'm very partial to my Bark River mini-Northstar (raffle prize from the NJKCA!), which's probably as long as a knife should be for pocket carry. :D
 
The Benchmade Snody 210 always struck me as a particularily sexy small fixed blade. I hear the sheath sucks though.
