Good lord, Alan, that is beautiful!

I am interested in getting a small custom fixed blade from you. What is your current wait?

That looks great Alan! Would you mind sharing where you get the handle material? Happy new year.

Not sure if I can post it here so I will PM you with details.

Alan,

Stumbled across your stuff just recently and this knife is another beauty. Which leads to my question on it and others that I've seen. These things look too pretty to really use ;). How well does the pine cone and Damascus hold up to every day carry and use? I'm assuming that they're not "hard use", but would they make a could EDC/user? I'm interested in knowing more about your handle material as well.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

I have carried a Damascus blade of one sort or another every day for the last 5 years, as long as you wipe it dry when it gets wet and keep a coat of ren wax on it, it will last a lifetime.
As far as the pinecone - I carried this knife for about 2 months before I listed it for sale and put it through the mill. It held up amazingly well, I carried in pocket with keys, etc. and only had one very light scratch from when I filled up my pocket with some pliers and a screwdriver. The scratch was easily removed with just a light buffing.

Badass little knife Alan. Looks great!

Thanks Mason!

Alan,

Thanks for taking the time to answer. Your knives are obviously a double threat :). Works of art that can be appreciated every day . .. .
