Pocket carry preferances?

I had always carried in my right front pocket but just the other day I discovered by accident that the sodbuster jr would not only fit in the watchpocket of my jeans but the pocket was large enough for the knife to lay horizontally at the bottom of the pocket. So now I have a new carry location for anything buster jr. size or smaller. I got pretty excited about the discovery (a true knife knut reaction). All my jeans are LL Bean. The old geezer style with the elastic side panels. :D

Somehow the thought of the goofy dufus in spandex is just a tad frightening. :p

Perhaps WH ought to start buying theirs from you.:)

Thanks!:)

Unfortunately my first WH Clip Case II only lasted about 8 months before falling apart because of a minor design problem. They fixed it on the Deluxe Clip Case but not the standard model. The stitching needs to go all the way around the front and back flaps or else the leather comes unglued. They did stand behind their product by shipping me a new one with no questions or proof of purchase required. I modified the replacement, so hopefully it will last longer.

The little watch/coin pocket works best for me, if it is large enough and my pants have one. Otherwise, right front.

It depends on the knife. Large sod busters, folding hunters, and daddy Barlows get carried in my back pocket next to my wallet. 3-5" + or - knives get carried in either of my front pockets, and under 3" go in my watch pocket. Joe

I carry my slippy in my front pocket. I would love to carry my knife in my back pocket along my wallet. BUT... please tell me (you guys who do this) how do you stand it when every time you take your wallet out, it falls over?
In a supermarket line I hate to have to fiddle with my knife and wallet to get it right agian. So, how do you deal with that senario?

I usually drop a full-size trapper into my right back pocket, where it is (most of the time) the right length to lie down flat (parallel to the ground, perpendicular to me.... unless I've had too many beers, in which case I'm also parallel to the ground...).
Knives larger than that will also get dropped into the back right pocket (not at the same time, of course).
Any knife with a clip also goes there.
Smaller slippies, especially the ones I consider "pocket jewelry," go in the right front pocket.
