Pocket clip screw protruding inside the handle

I don't see what the big deal is. My small is the same. It doesn't hinder the function at all. Purely cosmetic. I also don't think it's ridiculous to charge $3 for a replacement. If you ask me it's just 0.014"(+/-) more assurance that it won't come loose and possibly result in a lost sebenza.

I just bought a small seb from a forum member on the exchange. It has a flush pocket clip screw, so I took it out to compare to the screw from my small insingo. In the photo below, the insingo screw is on the left.

It's clear to me that the flush screw has just been cut shorter. This means one of two things, that a previous owner cut it down themselves to make it flush or CRK did.

Those are my thoughts as well. I have a similarly priced knife that has the same imperfection. Once I turned down the $400-knife-obsessiveness switch, I was happier with my knife.

If the protruding screws were an error, I think CRK's warranty should cover it.
If the flush screws are simply part of the evolution of CRKs over the years, CRK can't be responsible for upgrading every older model for free.
