Pocket clips.....either love 'em, or hate 'em.

It looks like several folks have a problem with clips causing a problem getting in their pocket for something else. I carry my large edc in my right front pocket, a ZT0500, and nothing else goes into the pocket. My small edc, a Spyderco Persistence, goes in my left front with change, and travel size Advil bottle. I carry phone on belt and keys hooked to a belt loop via a caribiner.

Anyone else dedicate a pocket for an edc only? Oh, as far as big knives go I have my Strider AR set up with a deep carry clip that is mounted all the way back on the handle so when in pocket all you see is a bit of pocket clip!:thumbup::D
 
i love pocket clips but there are times i would prefer to have my knife more concealed a to not freak people out
 
Absolutely despise them. I have ripped car seats, scratched fenders
and worn out pants pockets to the point where I won't own anything with
a non-removable clip. My EDC is a full-size Rittergrip which fits perfectly
in a Benchmade soft sheath. Looks like some kind of cell phone which
is just fine with me.

Yes and no. My right front pocket is for my clipped knife and cellphone. I may throw some loose change down there from time to time, but for the most part, only the phone rides down in the pocket.

And since I reach for my knife more often than my phone (I go days at a time without using my cellphone), I'm not overly concerned with knocking my knife out of the pocket when reaching for my phone.

The other front pocket has my wallet and Vic Soldier. The Soldier rides under the wallet because I am paranoid about losing it... yes I'm more worried about losing the $18 SAK than the $145 Paramilitary, but I love that little Soldier.

Keys go on a carabiner on a belt loop.

Like another said, my cell phone rides in my right front pocket with my CS Large Espada. My left front pocket holds a Olight M30 Triton flashlight and my money-clip/ID holder. Keys on carabiner on belt loop. Kimber CDPII .45 on right hip, spare mag on left hip with spare light. Lots of other things, but I am not going to list them all, been done before.

lol, I do. My right front pocket is reserved for one of my wave opening knives. I don't want anything to get in the way when I need it. It does also allow me to carry larger blade options since I'm not fighting for space in that pocket.
 
That is basically how I feel 100eyes. Btw, didn't mean to make it look like I was shouting as that wasn't my intent!:o:)
