Mr.Taylor,How do I go about getting a replacement clip for my pioneer? Also do the newer clips have a smaller hole drilled in them because my newer one fits much tighter around the pivot screw than my old one does(which has been damaged beyond repair).Thanks.

I'm Looking at a just recieved, New PioneerII . I read on a previous post that the clip had movement. I have noticed this also. The clip has a lateral side to side movement as if the hole in the clip is oversized with regards to the fastner(pivot) screw. Other than that this knife seems to be very rugged. Tight lockup, no major discrepancies. Just curious? 1. does anyone know what kind of lube is used at the pivot.
2. can I fully disassemble this knife for cleaning and lube. 3. what angle is the edge from the factory?

Again, this seems like a very rugged knife that I look forward to using glad I made the purchase (wished I would have bought sweptblade instead of the drop point.)

Just bringing this back to the top.Still looking for an answer.Thanks.

In addition to Scott's question, I'm wondering if it's possible to get a black clip for my Carnivour. With the black G10 and the Black-T blade, that silver clip sticks out like a sore thumb!

How do I go about getting a clip for my pocket hobbit?

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??

Well, I guess the clip questions are not a priority to REKAT. My pocket hobbit is definately a keeper anyway, but a clip might be nice. At least they make a fine knife.

"We do put them on call Christina for the spefics (208) 265-8858. 50% of the people that have a pocket clip don't like it. The knife is a bit big for pocket carry IMHO." -Bob Taylor

I believe they get $10

Of course you are familiar with this pocket hobbit. I like the knife, but the sheath will release it if bumped or rubbed. Thought about putting it in my right back pocket with a clip to keep it upright.
Thank you
Jim
