This is a small EDC fixed blade designed to be carried in your pocket. It was made from a small scrap of CPM 154 and some nice amboyna burl.
This knife and sheath was an experiment. I wanted something that I could EDC that was entirely mine. It is small, (blade length is <2"), but fits in hand comfortably and cuts well thanks to the thin edge.
This was my first knife sheath. I didn't want to work with leather or Kydex, so I designed something from wood. The amboyna on the back of the sheath was cut from the same block as the handle slabs. Blade retention is accomplished by a combination of a small magnet and a piece of ebony. The blade clicks into place and won't release until properly rotated.
I plan on carrying this on a regular basis to fully determine what I like/dislike about the design.
