Pocket Fixed Blades

I did a 360-wrap to my Benchmade follow-up. Results are mixed, I like that it has now more surface to grip, but then the idea of a slim, low profile fixed blade is lost a bit. Well, paracord is cheap.

Another favourite of mine is the Brisa (Enzo) necker. Small puukko's make also great pocket sized fixed blades.

Puukko is IMO not a good choice for pocket carry EDC knife. Sheath is kinda large, there is also a round handle which is hard to conceal. It is more of a carving/bushcaft knife than EDC knife.

I like a pocket / small fixed blade for EDC, the thing that I am still trying is how to make it comfortable to carry in the pocket. The KSF pocket sheaths with two pockets for items are a good way to carry, but can get a little heavy. I want to try more horizontal carry on my belt.

Here are three, made by makers from BF's Knife Makers' Market :

I pocket carry a Guardian 3 occasionally. I have a small custom knife that I also occasionally carry. Before I got interested in pocket carry I owned a Dozier Personal which would be perfect, but I ended up selling it. I've found that maximum length for me for pocket carry is somewhere between 6.75" and 7" which is somewhat tricky to find. This gives me a knife with just enough handle to hold onto and just enough blade to be useful.

Take a look at the bark river mini kephart in 3v, it is very light but large and tough enough to be very useful.
