Here is a little hatchet I made with torched oak handles. It`s 8 1/4" overall, 3 1/2" cutting edge, and 1/4" thick O1 steel. Asking $150.00 shipped in USA, money orders, cashiers checks, or personal checks with time to clear. It will come with a kydex edge cover. SOLD

Is this the same size as C. Bryant's axe or is it a bit shorter? I tried Chris' and it performed very well.

This one is a shorter model. I do still make the larger one too.

I just got this hatchet today and I got to say that it's pretty cool. It feels great in the hand and weighs more than I expected, 19oz. which I'm sure will come in handy when chopping. It truly is a pocket hatchet too as it does fit it my back pocket.

I think this will become a handy tool that will make a nice accompaniment to a fixed blade. It might even be capable of replacing a fixed blade for some tasks with a little adjustment of my grip. I have some experimenting to do.
