Pocket Hobbit... HELP

Hey evreyone... I just got a Pocket Hobbit from a member recently, and I'm having trouble with it... The biggest problem is when I snap it open, one handed... the lock seems to stick in the open position, preventing me from locking the knife completely... Two, the pivot pin is loose, and causes the blade to open on an agnle, causing it to scrape against the liners, and rubbing the TI-N coating off... HELP!! any one have any similar problems with their REKAT knives? I already sent mine in to REKAT,but the knife is still acting up....

I've never had a problem with my Pocket Hobbit. In fact, I've been so impressed, I'm planning on ordering more REKAT folders. My experience with the company has also been good ... I wanted to get a clip placed on the Hobbit and everything went very smoothly. I think that if you're still having problems, you should e-mail Bob Taylor, rather than REKAT. Mr. Taylor answered quickly, while I've never gotten a response when e-mailing REKAT.

I don't think that my equipment case where I keep all of my knives and related things will ever be without REKAT Products.

I did sell a Pocket Hobbit because I found that...in doing everything that I do, I did not feel that I was doing the design "justice," in that you have to focus on the draw and opening with this particular knife. I own a Hobbit though, great stuff...SIFU soon...

Point being, call Bob on the phone, Bob will take care of you.
 
I have had similar problems with my Pocket Hobbit - The blade rubs on the liner and it has an up and down play when open. I have e-mailed REKAT some time ago with no reply. The e-mail address I used was found on the REKAT site -roundeye@nidlink.com which is the same e-mail address shown in Bob Taylors profile (http://www.bladeforums.com/cgi/Ultimate.cgi?action=email&ToWhom=Bob+Taylor). Does He have another e-mail address that I am not aware of?
